Shipping policy

Overview

Thank you for shopping with Nicarao Cafe Roasters. We take great care in packing and shipping every order so that your coffee and merchandise arrive fresh and in perfect condition. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

What We Ship

We currently ship the following products within the United States:

  • Whole bean coffee
  • Ground coffee
  • Merchandise and accessories

Note: Coffee subscriptions and wholesale options are coming soon. Stay tuned for updates.

Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not offer international shipping at this time, but we plan to expand in the future. Sign up for our newsletter at nicaraocaferoasters.com to be notified when international shipping becomes available.

Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays). Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the following business day.

For coffee orders, we roast in small batches to ensure freshness. If your order includes freshly roasted coffee, please allow up to 5 business days for processing.

Note: Processing time is separate from your shipping transit time.

Shipping Methods & Rates

We offer the following shipping options at checkout. Rates are calculated based on your order weight and delivery destination.

Economy Shipping

  • Most affordable option
  • Estimated delivery: 5–8 business days
  • Available for all U.S. destinations

Standard Shipping

  • Faster delivery at a higher rate
  • Estimated delivery: 2–5 business days
  • Available for all U.S. destinations

Note: We do not currently offer free shipping. All shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and destination.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email or text message (depending on the contact information provided at checkout) with a tracking number. You can use this to track your package through the carrier’s website.

Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your confirmation for tracking information to update.

Delivery Issues

Delays

Nicarao Cafe Roasters is not responsible for delays caused by weather events, carrier disruptions, or other circumstances outside our control. If your order experiences a significant delay, please contact us and we will do our best to assist.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, please take the following steps:

  • Check with neighbors or your building management
  • Verify the shipping address on your order confirmation
  • Wait 24 hours, as carriers sometimes scan packages as delivered early
  • Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number

If the issue remains unresolved, please reach out to us at hola@nicaraocaferoasters.com and we will work with you to find a solution.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and products immediately and contact us within 7 days of delivery at hola@nicaraocaferoasters.com. We will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
